The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen is a new university in the area, linked to the main campus across the border in Shatin, Hong Kong. At the time this cache is placed, the campus is pretty small and compact, but come August 2017, it's going to grow significantly to become a spectacular location, in a pretty impressed area (see Universiade grounds too). Hopefully Geocaching will become a popular activity for many of the conscientious students at this outstanding university.
This cache is hidden in the heart of the original campus. The location is a nice man made garden, popular with students for relaxing in the pleasant Shenzhen weather. In addition to the plentiful seating to enjoy a drink from the student run coffee shop, or something more substantial from the local convenience store, the garden features a number of different types of trees, bushes and rocks... the latter of these being home to this cache. This particular part of the garden is rarely trod by people, but is not too hard to access.
You may need to bend down a little to find this one, as it is only a short distance above the grass. However, it is reasonably well protected from the rain. The container is a small, clear, round clip lock container with pinky-purple lining which (at the time of placement) only contains the logbook. So please byo pen. It might be large enough for some small travel bugs and gifts.
Please beware of muggle students, teachers and other university staff who might be curious about what you're doing. It is quite visible too all in the vicinity, if they care to watch you.
