Geocache Description:

三里松原は遠賀郡岡垣町の北岸一帯、玄海国定公園の一角で全長６ｋｍにわたって広がる松原です。

古くは神功皇后が三韓征伐のために香椎に宿陣された際、海風が激しかったために、この地に千本の松を植えた（当時の呼び名は垣崎松原）ことがはじまりと言われています。

県内でも自然の環境がよく残っており、全国の浜辺でも絶滅したと言われるハマグリが見られたり、ウミガメの産卵も近年確認されています！

キャッシュはその海岸線のある一角に設置されています。

潮風を浴びながら、パノラマの海岸線の景観をお楽しみください。
