Geocache Description:

Cholla is a cactus species native to the Southwest US and Northern Mexico.  Thay are know for their barbed spines that attach to skin, fur and clothing.  Thistle Cholla is found in the Big Bend region of Texas and northern Mexico.

Congrats to Carmel for braving the desert rains and making the FTF!


This cache is on Arizona State Trust Land.  Geocachers must purchase a recreation permit available on the State Land Department's website at (https://land.az.gov/natural-resources/recreational-permits) in order to avoid a fine.

Be aware of normal desert dangers, including snakes, sticky plants, and the occasional mountain bike.
