Frogs - Reed Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GC Putte: We are sorry we have to close down Frogs due to the road at the beginning being private.

Due to lack of consideration for residents, the owners have closed the road even to pedestrians.

We will collect all the cans in the near future and we want everyone to respect the residents' wishes.

We would like to thank everyone who has walked and logged our geocaches.

Geocache Description:

Frog Valley or Taurodalen as it is called, we found before we started caching. At the time we went on long walks and we could be out and go from morning to night.
This valley we found by chance. We had started our hike up to the Norwegian place and past the hamlet of them barking dogs and up to the Norwegian club who call Ivan's place.
Somewhere you have to go down as it became the path to the Casa de Tauro and Taurodalen down to Amadores and home. The last part of the valley, we went in the dark and without a flashlight, and we heard dogs barking in the mountains.

We talked a lot about this walk. After a week, we went back and took the tour little slower and shorter. We stayed up and read the signs in the nice park. We realized after some research that has been camping here for canarier.
We went ahead and found the caves. It had rained a little a few days before so there was water in the creek so we had to proceed cautiously. We climbed up and went way that becomes a path. We crossed the creek a few times and got the jump on the stones must not get wet. When we had gone a couple of hours we heard a terrible noise. We initially thought it was a bird of prey kids, we had seen Raptors past and heard them scream, but something did not match the sound.

We went on a little bit and we see a small lake and water flows in the creek and small waterfalls. It was so cool experience. We sneaked closer to the sound and discover with delight lots of frogs that swam, jumped and kvackade. Here we stopped for a while and enjoyed what we saw before we continued our journey up and then down to Tauro Golf.

But we have chosen a different route back. We have made two detours and a trip to the laundry room. Which way you choose back then is up to you, but we recommend that you go back to the dirt road and take it down to the Golf. It is the simplest and easiest way.

We have chosen to put a little higher than the T-factor Tauro because this is a little different terrain than Tauro.
