O Kruszwicy:
Wiele nazw miejscowych na kujawskiej ziemi pochodzi od soli lub jej handlowej postaci-walcowatej bryłki, zwanej kruszą. Do tej grupy nazw zalicza się także Kruszwica. Z racji tego, że krusze drogiej niegdyś soli były symbolem bogactwa sama już nazwa miasta - Kruszwica zapewne odzwierciedlała bogactwo i znaczenie grodu.
W XV w. kiedy to włodarze Kruszwicy wybierali herb miasta, kujawskie solarstwo upadło na rzecz żup krakowskich. Być może właśnie, dlatego na tarczy herbowej umieszczono bardziej przystający do tych czasów staropolski symbol bogactwa - drzewo gruszy.
O miejscu:
W miejscu współrzędnych startowych znajduje się obecnie jedyny budynek Szkoły Podstawowej nr 2 im. Tysiąclecia Państwa Polskiego w Kruszwicy. Do tej szkoły miałem okazję uczęszczać, jednakże dzisiaj sama szkoła jak i jej otoczenie wyglądają nieco inaczej. W latach 1989-1997 klasy 1-3 mieściły się w starym budynku zlokalizowanym przy Rynku (waypoint R0). Następnie dzieci z klas 4-8 przenosiły się do dużego budynku (współrzędne startowe). W tym samym budynku mieściło się także Liceum Ogólnokształcące, co było kłopotliwe dla młodszych dzieci. Co więcej w miejscu obecnego boiska Orlik, znajdowało się klepisko, które służyło jako dwa boiska do piłki nożnej. Dookoła natomiast znajdowała się żużlowa bieżnia, po której biegaliśmy podczas lekcji WF-u. Zachęcam do zapoznania się z historią szkoły oraz jej otoczeniem.

About Kruszwica:
Many of local names of places stem from salt or its commercial form, which looks like a cylindrical lump, called ‘krusza’ in Polish. Kruszwica belongs to this group of names. On account of the fact that ores of salt used to be very expensive and became symbols of wealth, the name Kruszwica surely reflected the prosperity and significance of the town.
In the 15th century, when the rulers of Kruszwica were choosing the coat of arms of the town, the Cuiavian salt mining collapsed on the benefit of żupy krakowskie, the Royal Salt Mines in Wieliczka and Bochnia. For that reason, a pear tree, which was another Old Polish symbol of wealth, was placed on the shield of the coat of arms.
About the place:
In the place of starting coordinates currently there is only building of Primary School No. 2 in the name of Millennium of the Polish State in Kruszwica. I had the opportunity to attend this school, but today the school itself and its surroundings look a bit different. In the years 1989-1997, classes 1-3 were located in an old building located by the Market Square (waypoint R0). Subsequently, children from grades 4-8 moved to a large building (starting coordinates). In the same building there was also a High School, which was troublesome for younger children. What's more, at the site of the current pitch Orlik, there was a concave, which served as two football pitches. Around, on the other hand, there was a cinder track, after which we ran during the PE lessons. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the history of the school and its surroundings.

Über Kruszwica:
Viele Ortsnamen auf dem kujawischen Boden kommen vom Salz oder von seiner Handelsform –walzenförmigem Salzblock „krusza“ genannt. Von diesem Begriff wurde der Name der Stadt auch abgeleitet. Die Salzblöcke waren einmal sehr teuer und wurden zum Symbol vom Reichtum. Der Name der Stadt wiederspiegelte sicherlich die Bedeutung der Burg Kruszwica.
Als im XV. Jh. die Herrscher von Kruszwica über das Stadtwappen entschieden, brich kujawische Salzindustrie zugunsten Krakauer Salzsiederei zusammen. Vielleicht deshalb erschien das altpolnische Symbol vom Reichtum - der Birnbaum auf dem Wappenschild, weil es zu damaligen Zeiten passend war.
Ortsbeschreibung :
An der Stelle der Startkoordinaten gibt es derzeit nur das Gebäude der Grundschule Nr. 2 im Namen des Millenniums des polnischen Staates in Kruszwica. Ich hatte die Möglichkeit, diese Schule zu besuchen, aber heute sehen die Schule selbst und ihre Umgebung etwas anders aus. In den Jahren 1989-1997 befanden sich die Klassen 1-3 in einem alten Gebäude am Marktplatz (Wegpunkt R0). Anschließend zogen die Kinder der Klassen 4-8 in ein großes Gebäude (Startkoordinaten). Im selben Gebäude gab es auch eine High School, die für jüngere Kinder lästig war. Darüber hinaus gab es auf dem Gelände des heutigen Spielfelds Orlik ein Concave, das als zwei Fußballfelder diente. In der Gegend dagegen gab es eine Aschenbahn, nach der wir während des Sportunterrichts rannten. Ich ermutige Sie, sich mit der Geschichte der Schule und ihrer Umgebung vertraut zu machen.
