Mason's Landing was the site of the State’s first powered saw mill in 1865. The mill loaded jarrah from the Darling Scarp and locally cut sheoak, banksia and paperbark on barges at Mason’s Landing and transported it down the Canning River to Perth and Fremantle.
There is a lovely picnic/bbq area nearby with public toilets and a canoe/kayak launching area.
