Geocache Description:

A lovely picnic and braai area with a bird hide

Bring some wood and beer and relax for the afternoon after exploring Marloth Park's Lionspruit area.

Lionspruit is open between 6am and 6pm. Entrance fee is R100 unless you have access to a Marloth Park property owners card, in which case entrance is free.

This spot overlooks a large dam and is fenced off to prevent wildlife interfering with your braai. Bring your camera and binoculars just in case you spot the resident lions Fluffy and Dezzie.

A lovely bird hide 50m from the braai area provides an excellet view over the dam, and there are toilet facilities and dustbins.

Please keep the area tidy
