Geocache Description:

Line of Sight to Stokenchurch (Lost Bearings?)

✓ #8 cache within Oxfordshire by % favourite points (see Project-GC).

One of a growing series of puzzle caches with the common theme being that they all offer a direct line of sight view of Stokenchurch Tower. The first four puzzles were very simple with the aim of making them solvable by children. The fifth upped the difficulty quite substantially. The sixth went easier again. This one, the seventh, is hopefully not too challenging.

The Puzzle

  • "Subtraction" 273.95°
  • "Division" 278.61°

The Cache

Please take care when accessing the cache. There is no need to use force. There's an easy way to open it which is related to the cache name. Once you've found the host, you will find a useful tool directly below. The tool is in two parts and you should find them separate. Use what's in the top to access something inside the tube. What you extract can then be inserted into the main host, just a little push required. After that you should be able to figure out how to access the cache. Please return everything to the positions you find them in. When setting, the nearby field was very muddy (very!). Nettles are big in the summer. Enjoy!
