St Aidan had many roles monastic founder, bishop and miracle worker. Renown for his kindness to animals he is typically pictured with a stag that he made invisible to save it from a pack of hounds.Much as cachers strive to make caches invisible to the uninitiated eye. St Martin of Tours was a 4th century bishop noted for ripping his cloak in two so that he could share it with a beggar. Interestingly, Martin means warlike, so perhaps these would be an unlikely duo to meet.
