RUA COBERTA

A Rua Coberta é um dos pontos turísticos mais visitado de Gramado, em virtude de estar bem no centro da cidade. O nome original desta rua é Rua Madre Verônica, são 100 metros de comprimento com telhado de vidro.
 
Durante o inverno da Serra Gaúcha, a área fica lotada de turistas assistindo aos shows musicais de bandas locais, que apresentam-se em um palco montado na rua.
 
Os eventos mais conhecidos na Rua Coberta são: desfile de modas, feira do móvel, semana do meio ambiente, exposição nacional de orquídeas e apresentações de natal.
 
No natal a Rua Coberta ganha uma decoração natalina peculiar, com uma grande árvore de natal, a famosa Árvore Cantante, onde corais da cidade se apresentam, cantando e encantando a todos.

THE COVERED STREET

The Covered Street is one of the most visited tourist spots in Gramado, because it is right in the center of the city. The original name of this street is Rua Madre Verônica, there are 100 meters of street covered with glass roof.
 
During the winter of the Serra Gaúcha, the area is crowded with tourists watching the musical shows of local bands, who perform on a stage set up on the street.
 
The most well-known events in Coberta Street are: fashion show, furniture fair, environment week, national orchid exhibit and Christmas presentations.
 
At Christmas The Covered Street gets a peculiar Christmas decoration, with a big Christmas tree, the famous Singer Tree, where the city's choirs play, singing and enchanting to all.
