Geocache Description:

Cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. Do not go there to search, you won't find anything!

After moving to the area from out west, I quickly noticed the severe lack of Geoart in the Tri-State area. I figured I'd put one in my own back yard!

This is part of the GeoArt: Here Fishy Fishy! series, a group of 36 puzzle caches. To find this puzzle cache, you will need to correctly answer the multiple choice question below.

Lluvia de Peces, or the Rain of Fish, is a phenomenon that has allegedly been occurring yearly for more than a century. Locals report that fish will occasionally rain down from the sky during a storm. The explanation generally offered for the rain of fish is meteorological, often speculated to be strong winds or waterspouts (fishnados). In this case, the nearest marine source for the fish is the Atlantic Ocean, about 200 km (140 miles) away, so this explanation might be seen as unlikely due to the improbability of waterspouts collecting fish in the open sea every year in May or June and transporting them directly there. Another story that could explain this occurrence is when Spanish priest Father José Manuel de Jesus Subirana arrived in the country in 1855, he saw how poor the people were and prayed 3 days and 3 nights asking God for a miracle to help the poor people and to provide them food. After these three days and nights God took note on this and there came a dark cloud. Lots of tasty fish rained from the sky, feeding all the people. Since then this wonder is repeated every year. What country does this phenomenon take place in?

A. Antigua, Guatemala N 39 56.302 W 074.14.496

B. Yoro, Honduras N 39 56.320 W 074.14.469

C. Managua, Nicaragua N 39 56.369 W 074.14.420

D. Santa Ana, El Salvador N 39 56.396 W 074.14.402

To find GC6XWTQ, the Final Puzzle cache of the series, you will need to search through the 35 other puzzle cache containers. Each one has a log holder... only the BLUE log holders give you the information you need to locate that puzzle.
