Geocache Description:

June 1, 2011, the Missouri River at Council Bluffs reached flood stage, at 29.0 feet. The river remained above flood stage until Sept. 10, setting a record for duration of 101 days. On July 2nd, the river crested at 36.29 feet, but dropped slowly.

One can still see the damage left from the flood, all these years later, on the nearby houses and wildlife.
