Geocache Description:

Need to dust off those shoes hanging on the wall or perhaps you got a new pair of snow shoes or shiny cross-country skis you need to break in?

Join us near over four hundred acres of forest land at the Deer Park Airport property off Missile Site Road.

We'll meet at the trailhead parking lot on the west side of Missile Site Road for some hot chocolate and visiting, then if you like you may venture into the woods to explore. There are various geocaches throughout the park area.

When: 12 noon until 12:30 pm.
Where: Deer Park, Wa a short drive about 20 miles north of downtown Spokane.
What to bring: You, your shoes or skis, GPS & or geo phone, camp chair?, warm fuzzy clothes, gloves, camera, water (stay hydrated!) small snow shovel if you want to try and find any caches, etc.
What else: Snow shoes are not required to attend the event. All geocachers are welcome.
In case of extremely bad weather "Warm drenching rain" the event may be cancelled, watch for notes posted on the event page.
We may have some hot dogs at the trailhead.

Well behaved dogs & polar bears need to be on leash.
No restroom facilities or water available, this is a free event. We may have a few extra pairs of snowshoes available, first come first serve, no guarantees. Cross country skis and snow shoes can be rented from some sport shops.

Another of my "Eat, drink and be scary events."
