Ever had a Geocache find you? We did and here is the story.
In March 2016 as small pink plastic box made it's way into an op-shop based in Rockingham. One of the volunteers with a keen eye and some knowledge of geocaching thought that with all that was inside it looked a little curious to just be a box of trinkets and after looking at the small book inside our suspicions were confirmed this was indeed a geocache!
But where was it from and how did it end up in the Op-Shop?
A quick google search turned up GC5REZD: Yarramalong Long Way Up There (now archived).
After contacting the owners of the cache it was decided that we would return the log book to them and repurpose the container somewhere here in WA... The only question left was where to hide it?
And so here we are after gaining permission from the local Salvation Army leaders we found a nice place not to far from this caches original find location here in the west.
PLEASE NOTE: You don't have to enter any buildings to find the cache.
