1 Mile round trip on a well designated grass path.
This cache is located off of Route 22 in Jackson Twp. Follow your GPS to the Parking Coordinates for best access. The parking area is located in an area known by the surrounding communities as "frenchy's dip". The Word "frenchy" came from the nick name of the late Mr Vermillion, owner and operator of the now abandoned "frenchy's garage" which is still located just off of RT22 across from the parking area. The word "dip" simply because of the dip in the road on RT22.
The trail you will be following will take you along side Stewart's Run, a small creek stocked with trout by the PA Fish Commission. Aside from being fairly level, you will have to go up hill at one point. The Path is very easy to walk and should not be much of a challenge, other than maybe a few mud/water holes, another words its good for all ages.
NOTE: If you are coming west bound on RT 22, then the parking area will be on your right. There is no access to the parking lot area from the East Bound lane of RT 22, you must turn around at the next break in the medial barrier and access the parking lot that way. You will be looking for an ammo can. Please hide the container as good , if not better (please don't make it "obviously hidden" where as it looks out of place!) than you found it.
