Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russian Federation - one of the largest military history museums in the world.

It was founded in December 1919. Modern building of the museum opened its doors on May 8, 1965.
The museum exposition is located in 24 halls and on the open area. The collection has more than 800 thousand exhibits, among which are:

- Relics related to the life and activities of the heroes of Russian history, both ordinary and famous generals and statesmen;

- Flags, awards, weapons and equipment, items of clothing and equipment of Russian armed forces and the armies of other countries, including the trophy.

- The outdoor observation deck presents more than 150 samples of military equipment and weapons of the Soviet Army and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation: from artillery during the Civil War of 1918-1922. to modern ballistic missiles.
