A small, camoed container along the southern Blinderman Trail in Franklin Canyon Park. In keeping with the other letterboxs in the park, the cache name is my homeland's word for the carving. A co-worker carved the original stamp that was muggled. The replacement stamp is from Etsy. Pls remember that the stamp & stamp pad are NOT swag. The logbook serves as both the geocache log & letterbox stamp book. Please seal well & re-hide better than found.
The letterbox is not hidden at the posted coordinates but provides a good place to park and information to the final coordinates. Because the path and location of the cache offered few distinct landmarks that can get someone lost, it was difficult to provide clues like a regular LB. So, I wanted to make it easier for you to find it. Remember to turn on track logs on your GPS to help with the return trip.
Final Coordinates: N 34 07.ABC, W 118 24.BDB
Look north on Franklin Canyon Drive and count the number of wooden posts holding up the wooden fence on the east side of the road. This two-digit number is AD.
Next, head up the stairs and enter the Blinderman Trail. The number of steps is B.
You will quickly find a square-shaped wooden fence on the left side of the trail. The number of posts on this fence is C.
Replace the numbers with the letters in the formula to get the final coordinates. Continue down the trail, enter the eucalyptus grove and head up the mountain/trail towards the letterbox.
Special thanks to RCKen and QBee37 for testing my first go on this LB.
