Geocache Description:


Gissing Common is a 6ha area of common land, a county wildlife site which Norfolk Wildlife Trust manages for it's abundant number of plant species. Visit in the spring for three different species of orchids, late summer for Pepper Saxifrage and both Ladies and Marsh Bedstraws.

 

Parking on the roadside of Gissing Common Road, then over a dry ditch onto the common.

 

Please wear long trousers as the grass gets very long and may harbour ticks.....

Also caution around horses which may be tethered during summer months.
