Welcome to Orenco Woods Nature Park! This place has been a part of Hillsboro history for over a century. As you explore the park you’ll see relics from its past, great things in the present (including some hidden letterboxes) and hints of an even more amazing future.
Cross the large bridge. Look north up the small canyon of Rock Creek. This area probably looks much as it has through history. To the south you can glimpse an area that is planned as a demonstration of the Oak Savannas that originally covered much of the Willamette Valley. The cache is a bison tube suspended from the bridge railing. Be careful not to drop the container.
