How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a great place to let your dogs and kids run. We stop here all the time, to let our daughter and dog run on our way to Huntington Beach or Lake Havasu.

This is a typical desert-style cache. Make sure that you have a writting utensil and there is room for some swag or trackables to trade.

This cache is located on Arizona State Trust Land and a permit to geocache on this land is required. You can purchase the permit on their website very easily and relatively quickly. Geocaching on this land is a privilege that we all value and have only recently been granted, so lets make sure that we are not looking for this cache (or any other state trust land caches) without the proper permit.  We dont want to lose this privilege.

As with any desert cache; whether you are in the middle of nowhere or in town, keep an eye out for the usual harmful suspects (snakes, scorpions, spiders, etc) when moving rocks or sticking your hands in bushes or holes. Please be respectful, as the best geocache hiding spots are sometimes the same places that our small desert dwelling friends call home. Your safety and the safety of wildlife is more important than finding a cache.

Happy Caching!

Congrats to HERMANDAGERMAN and FRAULINE for being the FTF!
