Zebra Patrol: Went there to day to check on it because it was badly over grown. Now since the KZN floods the area looks like a lunar landscape. The trees on either side of the bridge have been wash away and the guard rail that the cache was on is about 40m down stream. So sad for all those that had problems with the floods.
Thank you to those that have found this one. But is time to let it rest in peace.

Geocache Description:

A quick park and grab in the first of my bridge series.

First please be careful of little children on this bridge as there is no public protection or handrails, although the cache is not on the bridge

This is a small single lane bridge built over a small stream allowing a single car to pass at a time. The stream is small but in flash floods this bridge can be under water. The concrete upstands help strengthen the roadway and break the flow of water over the road when in flood. On the downstream side this bridge also carries supply lines across the stream.
