You are probably wondering what this is all about. Perhaps you are expecting “A post ironic retrospective on Donald McGill”. We did consider doing that but then worked out that we’d have to charge you an entrance fee and produce a glossy catalogue for you to put on your coffee table for your friends to admire. Not totally satisfactory all round, particularly if your friends ignore the catalogue. Eventually we settled for a more tongue in cheek idea, if you’ll pardon the expression.
