Parking is available at Lake Champlain Visitors Center on the New York side of the lake. Explore the surrounding Crown Point State Historic Site, and Crown Point Memorial Lighthouse honoring the French explorer Samuel de Champlain. Also, be sure to check out the Chimney Point Historic Museum and grab a bite to eat on the Vermont side. Please observe the posted speed limit, and watch for snow and ice along walkway during cold months. Please do not go on, or near road, as cache is not located on guardrail. Also, it is not located on fencing.
