Geocache Description:

A tiny hidden island in South Guildford, flanked by mud on the East side and the Swan River on the West.

My island fortress when I was growing up in South Guildford. Countless days were spent on Mud Island with the neighbourhood kids fishing, playing pirates or just using it as our hideout. Good un-clean fun, a place that I will always have fond memories of.

Mud island can be easily accessed by kayak, boat or swimming. If you're brave enough to cross over to the the island via the mud then be prepared to get dirty! The mud, depending on the time of year can get quite deep, which is why it gets a T4 rating. Bring your own pen and good luck!
