1966年、「ウルトラマン」の第一話「ウルトラ作戦第一号」が放送される一週間前の7月10日、「ウルトラマン前夜祭ウルトラマン誕生」という番組ＰＲイベントが杉並公会堂より公開録画中継で放送されました。 ウルトラマンはここ杉並公会堂で産まれたと言えましょう。

The 1st of October is Tokyo Citizen’s Day. On this day in 1898, the State of Tokyo was established. We, the members of geocaching groups in Tokyo, celebrate this occasion by hiding this cache, along with many other caches, all over our city. Many city-run parks, museums, zoos, and other attractions will be free on this day.
