Geocache Description:

The 18th in a series of caches (or 'treasures' as they're called by our now 5 year old little boy) that were all made up by him (with a little assistance from Dad). This one at a roadside stop on the main road between Plett & Knysna.

The Plett / Knysna / Garden Route Area is, without doubt, our favourite part of SA. We frequent as often as possible and enjoy (amongst other things)the mountain biking, hiking and beaches on offer.

This GC is a quick park & find at a road side stop between Plett and Harkerville - so safe parking available off the main road. A great place for the kids to stretch their legs and let off some steam - hence the perfect location for one of our series GC's.

GC is hidden just inside the entrance and far enough from muggles to muster any attention but still try to be discrete. It's a quick & easy find but probably only available during operating hours of all the establishments at this location. PLEASE REPLACE THE GC AND CAMOUFLAGE EXACTLY AS YOU FIND IT.

Our little boy started geocaching with us at the age of 3 in Dec 2014 and absolutely loves it, especially the GC's large enough to have lots of goodies to look through. He's now almost as good as us at finding GC's that are within his reach/height.!

Accordingly, he was very excited to hit the shops to buy goodies, bottles, notepads, pencils, etc and to pack his 'treasures' ready for deployment.

Whilst at the venue for lunch we popped off to find a suitable hiding spot. We hid this or other kids (& adults) to enjoy finding, opening, looking through, trading and enjoying.

This is a small GC, well disguised and hidden inside a natural object. Not meant to be a difficult & within easy reach for kids of all ages & sizes. Note that my GPS had 3m accuracy at all reading times.

There is no pencil so please bring your own. You can trade small items and please do.
