Geocache Description:

This is a series of caches placed on a circular walk starting and ending in Thorpe Le Soken. I spent my childhood on the footpaths and in the fields where these caches are placed. My parents have recently moved away from Thorpe after 40 years so I have placed these caches as an excuse to take me back home!

There are other excellent caches from other owners along the way. I would allow about 2 hours for the circuit. The fields can get very muddy in winter and there is a number of obstacles that may prove difficult if you are planning on taking a pushchair.

I hope this walk brings you as much pleasure as I got from my stroll down memory lane.

This sign was the cause of many arguments when I was a child. A group of us used to regularly cycle to Clacton in the summer holidays and pretty much every time we went, there was heated discussion as to whether the quickest way to get there was to continue down Harwich Road or turn down Tan Lane, To this day I am undecided which is quicker!

Be careful not to get muggled and please replace this in exacty the place you retrieved it from
