Die Location:
Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten zum Cache zu gelangen und entsprechend unterschiedliche T-Wertungen. Die derzeitige Wertung geht von der wahrscheinlichsten Variante aus, also dem Aufstieg mittels Seilbahn daher T3
Im Winter:
Mit der Goldbergbahn und einem Fußgängerticket. 20EUR++ T2
Mit der Goldbergbahn und einer Karte für Skifahrer 40EUR++. T2
Mit Tourenskiern von der Talstation Sportgastein 2-3h T4,5
Im Sommer:
Aufstieg von Sportgastein über mehrere Varianten 2-3h T4,5
Aufstieg von Böckstein über das Hieronimushaus 3-4h T4
An einzelnen ausgewählten Tagen wird die Goldbergbahn im Sommer in Betrieb genommen 20EUR++ T2
Nimm dir die Zeit und gehe die letzten Höhenmeter zum Kreuzkogel Gipfel um den Panoramausblick zu geniessen. Es zahlt sich aus. Siehe Referenzpunkt
Achtung Warnung:
Der Cache selber ist offiziell 24/7 verfügbar, jedoch abhängig vom Wetter nicht immer erreichbar !
Es kann sein daß die Kugel im Sommer verschlossen ist wenn die Bergbahn nicht in Betrieb ist. Ersuche um übermittlung eines Selfies, dann ist ein Fotolog absolute möglich.
Man befindet sich im hochalpinen Gelände ! Entsprechend können Wind, Niederschlag, Kälte gefährlich werden.
Die Gasteiner Hochalpenstrasse (um nach Sportgastein zu kommen kann ebenfalls witterungsbedingt unpassierbar sein.
Jeder ist für sein Handeln selbst verantwortlich
Der Cache:
Die Dose befindet sich in der Kugel. Die Kugel ist geöffnet während der Betriebszeiten der Seilbahn. Magenetisch. Die verschlossenen Kästen sind bitte in Ruhe lassen. Stealthmode: den Cache nur heben wenn sich keine Muggels in der Kugel befinden.

The Location:
There are several routes to get to the cache which result in different T Ratings. The actual rating assumes the most likely (and easiest) route, using the Goldbahn cablecar. Winter:
Goldbergbahn cable car and a pedestrian ticket 20EUR++ T2
Goldbergbahn cable car a skiing ticket 40EUR++ T2
Alpine tour from the lower station Sportgastein 2-3h T4,5
Summer:
Ascend from Sportgastein via several similar routes 2-3h T4,5
Ascend from Böckstein via the Hieronimushaus 3-4h T4,5
Occasionally the cable car is openen for one day during the summer period. Pls check for details.
We highly recommend to invest the extra effort and 10 min to climb all the way to the top of Kreuzkogel summit to have a spectacular 360° panorama view. See reference/waypoint
Attention Warning:
Even if the cache is marked as a 24/7 cache, it it not always reachable depending on the alpine weather condition.
The ball can be locked in summer. In this case a fotolog is absolutly possible.
You find yourself in alpine terrain! Wind, Rain, Snow or cold are dangerous here.
The Gasteiner mountain road (leading to Sportgastein) may also be closed due to bad weather conditions.
You are responsible for your own actions. Pls act responsible.
The Cache:
The micro container is located inside the ball. The ball is open while the lift is operating.
magentic. It is not located in or around the locked cupboards. Stealthmode is required. Please do not attempt to log while muggels are in the ball.
