Geocache Description:

Basic cache at the side of the road between the A631 and Kingerby, at the junction with the road to North Owersby.

Legend has it that this plaque was erected by the owner of the Kingerby estate in the late 19th century, after cattle on the estate were spared from a disease ravaging neighbouring farms. The disease progressed no further than the farm you see in front of you, hence the plaque's location.

Regular litter-picks are organised along this lane, so please leave the cache tucked away under its little pile of twigs if possible. Gloves may be needed.

This is my first cache, so all tips and suggestions are welcome!

Happy hunting in our picturesque corner of Lincolnshire wink
