This lake is one of our favorite places to visit first thing in the spring. You’ll find us checking out our kayaks as soon as the ice melts (sometimes before it’s completely gone!).
Through spring and summer it’s a great place to see geese, loons, ducks, pelicans, blue heron, beaver and muskrats. There’s a great walking trail along the shore and through the woods, and a picnic area along the shore. The stocked lake is a popular fishing spot throughout the summer.
