La cache è nascosta all'interno della grotta Morgan, sul sentiero delle Cenge di Rotzo.

The cache is hidden inside the Morgan cave, among the trail "delle Cenge" of Rotzo.

La grotta Morgan


La grotta Morgan è un riparo artificiale costruito come rifugio durante la prima guerra mondiale. Si trova nella parte iniziale del sentiero delle Cenge.
Per trovare la cache entrate nella stanza più interna della grotta e guardatevi attorno: non sarà difficile scovare il nascondiglio!

Morgan cave is an artificial shelter built as a refuge during World War II. It is located in the initial part of the path of the ledges.
To find the cache enter the innermost room of the cave and look around: it will not be difficult to find the hiding place!





Il sentiero delle Cenge


Questo itinerario, recentemente ripristinato dalla Comunità Montana, consente di visitare i luoghi a strapiombo sulla Val d'Assa, su un sentiero che si snoda in luoghi ove un tempo si praticava la pastorizia e in piccoli spazi anche l'agricoltura.
Il sentiero parte dalla campagna di Rotzo, un buon punto di inizio potrebbe essere il Bostel.
La particolarità del sentiero è la presenza di numerose Cenge, sulle quali il sentiero si snoda per lunghi tratti. Le cenge sono delle tettoie naturali di roccia calcarea che si sono formate grazie al fenomeno dell'erosione selettiva.
Il sentiero percorre la valle in prossimità delle cenge per circa tre km. Si cammina nel bosco ricco di specie anche inusuali per l'altopiano, incontrando ripari naturali, macigni particolari, gallerie della prima guerra mondiale, cascate e terrazzamenti che un tempo erano coltivati a vigneto.
Il sentiero giunge fino alle cascate del Pach per proseguire poi fino a raggiungere l'abitato di Albaredo (volendo si può abbreviare la passeggiata, una volta raggiunte le cascate, tornado subito verso Rotzo).

Il percorso è adatto a escursionisti esperti, poichè nel tratto iniziale presenta alcuni passaggi esposti che vanno superati con attenzione e passo fermo. Sono da evitare i periodi umidi o quando c'è neve o ghiaccio.

This route, recently restored by the Mountain Community, allows you to visit the places overhanging the Val d'Assa, on a trail that stands in places where once was practiced farming and in small spaces even agriculture.
The trail starts from the countryside of Rotzo, a good starting point might be the Bostel .
The special feature of the path is the presence of numerous ledges, over which the trail winds for long stretches. The ledges are natural roofs of limestone that were formed thanks to selective erosion.
The trail runs through the valley near the ledges for about three kilometers. You walk in the forest rich in species also unusual for this highland, encountering natural shelters, special boulders, First World War tunnels, waterfalls and terraces that were cultivated with vineyards.
The trail reaches the Pach waterfalls and then continue until you reach the village of Albaredo (if you want you can shorten the walk, when you were at the falls, coming back immediately to Rotzo).

The route is suitable for experienced hikers, as in the initial section presents some exposed steps that must be overcome with care and firm step. It's recommended to avoid the wet periods or when there is snow or ice.
