Oakwood Park is operated by the Borough of New Providence, Oakwood Park is one of several recreational facilities in town. The park features two baseball fields, a playground, a soccer field, ice skating ponds, a basketball court, canoe trail, a horseshoe pit, bocce court and a nature trail. The park also has a covered picnic area and restrooms available.
The park is open and currently under major renovations, turf fields, etc, please watch out for construction operations while parking.
Oakwood Park trail from the parking lot will take you on a scenic trail that runs along the Passaic River. At times there may be muggles in the area, Please be discrete when retrieving and replacing this very small cache.
