Please use caution when exploring this area.
One of my favorite spots in the Berea College Forst., Eagles Nest is a great place for a break. The area has great views with shade behind boulders on hot days and shelter from the wind on those blustery days. I am unsure of the origin of its name, but I like think envision the boulders as eggs in the nest of a Great Eagle of Middle Earth.
The cache is a regular ammo can with log and room for trade items. As always,bring your own writing instrument.. The cache is not ear the steeper cliffs but is found on loose slopes on the northern side. Watch your step.
