Geocache Description:

Enjoy a walk through maritime forest on the John Gilbert Nature Trail and end on an observation deck overlooking the salt marsh. This nature trail previously had a geocache on it but it has since disappeared. Enjoy this often overlooked trail! You are looking for a clear cylindrical container stocked FULL of stickers! Feel free to bring a sticker to trade out! The cords on this one bounce around a little but take your time and you will find it! CONGRATS TO FTF: TeamBulldawg! GO DAWGS!

The land that houses the John Gilbert nature trail is the first piece of land donated to the St Simons Land Trust. The Land Trust is responsible for conserving many beautiful natural places that can be found all over the island.
