This is a unique Multi Cache I made for the benefit of the High school and the local scouting group. it combines GPS work and compass work known as Orienteering.
The listed coordinates get you to the first waypoint or stage of this multicache, but you will need to use a compass to locate the coordinates to the next stage. (All of the stages of this multi cache are on this trail in John Dahl Park). Each set of coordinates actually comprises of two parts, the "cache" where the "Orienteering" directions are and a Bison Tube containing the coordinates to the next stage. There are 8 stages in total. The 8th and final Cache (stage) will hold the log book.
Put the Red in the Shed and follow Fred!
an example of the directions you will receive is: Walk 15 Paces 132 Degrees
Here is a webpage describing how to use a compass -HERE-
make it fun for your kids! get them to do the compass work :)
