Geocache Description:

This geocache is a competitor in the 2017 GGA Geocache Competition.

 

Ash Ketchum needs your help.  His pokeballs have fallen out of his backpack and released a slew of Pokemon out into the Phinizy Swamp Nature Trail and Park. Unless they are quickly located and captured, they will wreak havoc on the nature preserve.  Please act quickly to help protect this natural wonder.  If you can help Ash reclaim these Pokemon, you may take any item you wish out of his special Pokebox.  If you are willing to help, you will need to make sure you have the proper software installed on your device.  The cartridge needed to begin can be downloaded here.  

The Phinizy Center for Water Sciences, Swamp and Nature Center is open 365 days a year from dawn to dusk and is free to the public.  Please enjoy the park as you hunt for Pokemon.  There is an abundance of wildlife here in the park to observe on these trails.  You are likely to see snakes, alligators, Blue Heron, White Ibis, Osprey, beavers, and many more species of birds, reptiles, and mammals.  If you have time, go ahead and check out the visitor center in the park, as well.
