We will be joined by a number of other volunteers from different organisations too so sadly, no geohounds please. Geokids are more than welcome though!
Litter pickers / gloves and binbags will all be provided courtesy of Sustrans and Durham County Council.
Bring along a pair of gardening gloves if you have them. It may also be useful to bring along a drink and a snack for yourself.
Please come along dressed for the weather with warm / waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.
There are lots of parking spaces next to Oakies Park and in the surrounding streets. Please park sensibly and considerately of local residents.
This event will make a huge difference to the local area and really make the place nicer for people to cycle, walk and geocache in!
