Geocache Description:

Cache is a magnetic nano.  You know what to do.  Be stealthy!  This is placed at a boat launch/camp ground so stealth is a MUST to keep the cache hidden!  Launch is open to the public.

This is a public access park that my dad brought me to.  He told me some history about it as my grandfather was a miner and this Monitor Bay Park and Hammond's Wharf boat launch at one point was one of the major shipping hubs of smelted iron ore to Albany Iron Works in Troy, NY for fabrication.

As it is off season, at this point the cache is fair game. This is a campsite also so please be courteous of your surroundings since people store their campers here also.  You have to cross railroad tracks to get to the cache spot so please, please be careful and mindful of trains.  When in season, stealth is a must, so don't "raise any flags!!"
