Numappara is wetland located west of Nasu Mountains at about 3500 feet altitude. Black salamanders are living in this wetland. Many egg sacs are seen in April-May and they will hatch in 4-6 weeks.
By car you can arrive at the free parking lot between late April through the end of November. The cache is placed where you can look nice view of the wetland and mountains. Bring lunch box and have at here. Due to high altitude and in the mountain, prepare appropriate clothing and bell or whistle for bears. Watch the weather also.
沼原は那須岳の西、標高１２００ｍのあたりにある湿原です。(br> ここにはクロサンショウウオが生息し、4月から5月にかけて産卵した卵嚢を見ることが出来ます。それらの卵は４－６週間で孵化します。
4月下旬から11月末までは、車で無料駐車場まで来ることが出来ます。キャッシュは湿原と背景の山並みが見渡せる眺めの良いところに設置しました。お弁当を持ってきてここで食べましょう。標高の高いところですので適切な服装・装備をご用意ください。またクマよけの鈴などもお忘れなく。
