Greatland Reviewer: Hello mac1588:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache. If you would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Congratulations to Maui&Mountainlife for the FTF!

This is a small, round Tupperware container that can hold small trade items. Its initial contents are some swag, including a newly released Geocoin, and a log book. You will need to bring your own pen.

The cache is located along Holomua Road, which runs from the Hana Highway east of Paia to Baldwin Avenue. Your best approach is from the Hana Highway. Holomua Road is your first right after Mama's Fish House travelling east, and the road is paved at this end of the road. If you come in from Baldwin Avenue, it is unpaved and rough in spots.

The cache should be easy enough to find, and although there is no parking pulloff, you can park on the side of the road directly at GZ and make your find. If you go just a little farther on the road, you will come to the old schoolhouse, where a cache is hidden, and then if you continue some more to the first pond on your left, another cache is hidden there too.

This cache is named after my eight-year-old grandson Eliot, who lives with his family in Paia and who will maintain this cache.

Edit Note: Due to storm damage, I have upgraded the terrain rating to 2, since you have to access this cache from the back and there is a bit of a slope involved.

Happy Geocaching!
