A short trail of caches in the Northside / Eighton Banks Area. There are fantastic views from here and The Angel of The North is a prominent feature in the distance. The footpaths link up to the Bowes Railway Path which is a local ancient monument.
The first cache is placed close to the edge of A1.DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE FROM THE A1. The cache is on a public footpath which runs alongside the A1 at this point. From the closest suggested parking, go down the steps to the right and through the tunnel along the Bowes Railway path, back up the stairs on the right and across the top of the tunnel. The cache is a bison.
