Partway down N. Bald Head Wynd over the old Federal road. Our government built a straight washboard road to construct and supply the 'new' lighthouse built in 1900. Today, the views down the straight road with the overhanging shade of the Live Oaks is one of the scenic wonders of Bald Head.
