FDR Timboon FS Traditional Cache

This cache is a small one (no room for swaps or bugs) but around a very important thing to be aware of when in the area. The Fire Danger Ratings. These are changed according to the days’ weather. Keep an eye on these every day and have a plan in place for what you will do if it hits severe, extreme and code red. BYO Pen. Stealth may be needed if the brigade are out and about. Remember not to block their path to get out. 

These ratings suggest what a fire will do on the day that has them. Even on a low day, a fire can start and run. No matter what the day has in store, be sure to understand your environment and exits. If it's a bad fire danger day, leaving early in the morning or the night before is one of your best options. It is important to be aware of the ratings while travelling through these areas.
