Every decade brings better and more sophicated toys for children. And there always seems to be that one toy that a child must have every Christmas and of course, for those who procrastinate - it can prove to be difficult to purchase this highly sought after gift.  The most highly sought after toy this past Christmas (2016) was the hatchimal - a cuddly creature that hatches from an egg and learns to walk and talk.  Back to the 1980's - a decade when shrinky dinks achieved popularity.  They were invented in 1973 by two housewives in Brookfield.   Who knew - Another Wisconsin Original!
