After caching on New Year's Day, my daughter decided she wanted to place a cache herself. I pointed her at this trail and let her find a spot she liked. Then I get her a few dollars to spend at the dollar store to load it up with trade items.
These trails are relatively unknown, but eventually will follow the stream through the greenspace here between Old Brookside and Brookside Apartments to an area not far from Town Hall. There's a third way to acces the trail from Buffalo Street Extension but nowhere to park. This is a short walk but depending on how you approach it and recent weather conditions you may find it a bit muddy.
While you're here you may encounter deer, foxes and any number of birds.
Two trailhead waypoints are provided, one in each of the residential areas bordering the woods. Please be considerate of the neighbors when parking and approaching the cache.
