The Carolina wren is a small, chestnut brown bird. I saw one while hiding this geocache. They tend to like woodpiles, and there's plenty around the GZ. Even if you don't see the Carolina wren, you might hear it. Its song sounds like "tea kettle tea kettle tea kettle." It also makes a raspy noise if you get too close to its nest.
