There are two parks opposite each other and they are so named for two well known early residents, Syd Hausmann and Ted Newton, of this area. While they were rivals at agriculture shows they worked in well together and had a series of whip cracks that they used each morning to to let the other know if help was needed. Lifelong friends Hausmann and Newton lived on adjoining properties opposite the park. Syd Hausmann developed Ashdone Jersey Stud in Upper Caboolture.
Cache is in a grove of trees, a nice walk from the car park which is on Tinney road. There is a pen and log book but its always good to byop.
