Welcome to Stoney Pond State Forest. I grew up a couple miles from here but did not really have much of a chance to visit it. I am making up for that now and would like to invite you to enjoy the trails and other available activities as well as grab a few caches in the process.

Available activities include

  • paddling
  • camping by permit May 1 through September 30
  • cross-country skiing and snowshoeing
  • horse-back riding
  • hunting and trapping during appropriate seasons

Please make sure that you bring something to write with. Some of the caches in the series are large enough for a pencil, but some of them are not

From the looks of all the trees in this area - It is entirely possible that there was a gnomish settlement here back around the turn of the last century...

Congratulations to Team M&M for FTF
