Geocache Description:

This cache part of the National Capital Area Council, Old Dominion District, Cache to Eagle Trail. It is a series of 12 geocaches, one for each point of the Scout Law, hidden at the sites of Eagle Projects. A geocoin trackable on Geocaching.com is available for purchase to commemorate the publishing of the series. If interested, contact OldDominionCache2EagleTrail@gmail.com. A coin has been placed in the cache for the FTF.

The inspiration for this series is from the first Cache to Eagle Trail published in 2010 in Marin Council (California) area. Trails have been published throughout the country. The intent of the Cache to Eagle Trail is to give scouts ideas for Eagle Projects. The Geocaching Merit Badge also includes an optional requirement to find three caches in a series.

There is a little hotel on the top level for travel bugs and coins. On the lower level is the container for the log book, and Council Strips and OA Flaps to trade. Please only trade Council Strips and OA Flaps
