A walk on the wild side....sort of!

This is cache number three and a chance to explore several different aspects of this very picturesque village.
This cache is a brisk walk from the village centre, but a walk worth making as it brings you to Rupert's tithe barn which dates from 1543, St Everilda's Norman style church, the village pond and the far more recent Millennium Green and nature trail, all meritorious in their own way. There is a very useful information panel between the barn and the church. You can continue past the church towards the river Ouse and the busy East Coast Mainline to view another ancient site with a long history, the Moat Field. However, to find the cache, you need to enter the Millennium Green and work your way round the various items of artwork that have been installed throughout it. If you have children with you do be aware that there is unfenced water nearby so keep an eye on them. Once you get to the cache, you will need a pen but it is big enough to take swaps and a TB. You will find it more by feel than by sight unless its not been put back properly. Please be careful to position it so that it is not easily detectable by the many doggles that frequent the area.
